St Anne's School Advisory Council
School Advisory Councils are an essential component of governing and operating Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne. They provide a forum for consultation and participation for parish and school communities.Members of School Advisory Councils in all MACS schools meet high standards of community, group and individual behaviour, and appreciate, value and share the educational mission and ethos of the Catholic Church.Through a process of discussion, deliberation and consensus, School Advisory Councils ensure advice is authentic and congruent with who we are and what we proclaim.Council members sign up for an initial two-year period, with the option of an additional two-year period after that. Nominations are called for when required via the school newsletter in Term Four each year.Policies relating to the School Council can be found on the school website under the Quick Links section.

My name is Kerryn Green and this is the fifth year that I have been part of the St Anne’s community as a mother to my daughter in grade 4, and to my son in grade 3. I have been part of the Sunbury community for most of my life and am looking forward to supporting the school as it continues to achieve excellence.
Andrew O'Callaghan
I’m new to the School Advisory Committee this year, and also fairly new to St Anne’s as a parent, with my daughter Ruby starting in Foundation last year. Whilst I may have only been a St Anne’s parent for just over a year, I have a long history with the school, having attended as a student - along with my 5 siblings - many, many years ago. My mother was also a teacher at St Anne’s for over a decade, some of her past students now parents of other St Anne’s students.
By day, I am a school principal, by night (and weekends), you will hopefully find me enjoying some family time and being active – preferably (but unlikely) at the same time.

I expressed an interest in being on the School Advisory Council as I have always believed schools perform better when parents actively engage with the school. Through my role on Council, I hope to play my part in ensuring our school seeks out and values contributions from the parent community.
PC Grobler
My name is PC Grobler and I am married to my beautiful wife, Marthie. We have been part of the Sunbury community for 7 years and part of the St Anne’s community since 2021. We are blessed with two amazing daughters, Christine and Maria, who are in year 5 and 3 respectively. I am an accountant by trade and work in Kyneton for a business and tax advisory practice. I also run a fortnightly men’s Bible Study and act as the treasurer for the St Mary’s Community Store on Oshanassy. This is my fourth year serving on the school advisory committee. I barrack for Carlton - Go Blues!
Terri Hill
My name is Terri Hill and I have two children at St Annes Primary School. My son, Aidan is in grade 3 and my daughter, Lucy is in prep. I work in an NDIS space as a Behaviour Support Practitioner which I thoroughly enjoy.
I wanted to join and be part of the School Advisory Council at St Anne’s to provide a voice for all students and their families, including those that are neurodiverse and/or needing additional support within their school environment. I am passionate about providing support that works towards the vision and values of our wonderful school, as well as meeting the individual needs of the students.

In my spare time I enjoy doing Pilates and being active. I enjoy sharing in the joy that my kids find in their extracurricular activities such as sport and music. I also enjoy tending to my veggie patch and animals. Our family enjoys time away together, mostly at our favourite spot on the Murray River.
