Dry Riverbed
Grant in 2021- update!
We are using the $5000 grant to beautify the dry river bed area and enhance the levels of biodiversity within the school. Plumbing has already been installed, ready to accommodate irrigation. We have prepared the ground, spread mulch, and started planting many different native species of plants. Plant species have been chosen to attract pollinators such as butterflies, native bees and to provide a food source for our already healthy population of native birds.
Dry Riverbed
Grant in 2021
Our school was awarded a grant to develop this area to increase the level of Biodiversity within the school and educate students about the importance of biodiversity.
Using this grant, students have been able to participate in incursions and assist with developing this area.
